KUAF Audio Advance: Don't Stop Please's Self-titled Album
-by Antoinette Grajeda
Since stopping by the studio earlier this summer, Don't Stop Please has been one busy band. In addition to performing throughout the listening area, the group has also gone on the road and performed in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Lousiana. And if that weren't enough, the sextet has been working on a new, self-titled, full-length album. The new record will be available via iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp stores November 2nd, but you can listen to it now right here:
The band originated in Conway, but the group relocated to Fayetteville earlier this year. Don't Stop Please is full of multi-instrumentalists who help create their sound, which band member Willie Krzeszinski describes as what would happen if “rock 'n' roll went folk and had some jazz in there.”
Prior to the online release of the album, Don't Stop Please will host a pair of release shows. The first will be Oct. 26 at George's Majestic Lounge and the second will be Nov. 1 at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock.
