Old City String Quartet

Classical music made right here in the Ozark Mountains is getting national attention thanks to the Artosphere Festival Orchestra. This morning's Performance Today, which airs from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday on KUAF, featured the Old City String Quartet, comprised of members of the Artosphere Orchestra, performing Mozart at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Hosted by Fred Child for American Public Media, the show broadcasts to 260 stations nationwide and is the most listened to classical music radio show in America. If you missed this morning's show, there's another chance to catch it tonight from 8-10 p.m., during our evening rebroadcast of the day's program.
