Ahead on this edition of Weekend Ozarks, a float along the Buffalo River nearly a year after a hog farm started business near the waterway, and a brand new water park in Siloam Springs is almost ready for the public. And speaking of being ready for the public, the Walmart AMP in Rogers last night had its public debut. Blake Shelton was the first headliner to perform in the new venue, but a few days earlier, we got a sneak preview of the facility.
The heat is being blamed for at least one death in Arkansas, work on an extension of the Razorback Greenway trail will alter traffic in Springdale for a couple of weeks, and more.

Dustin McDaniel, Arkansas’ Attorney General has been busy the past few weeks. He has announced he’s seeking the governor’s office in 2014 and he’s been studying what possible expanded Medicaid coverage might mean for Arkansas. He recently sat down with Roby Brock of Talk Business to discuss these matters and others as part of Roby’s series of conversations with Arkansas’ elected officials.
