The new Ozark Mountain Regional Public Water Authority which delivers Bull Shoals Lake water to towns and districts across Boone, Newton, and Searcy Counties is in trouble. As Jacqueline Froelich reports, several towns that signed on to the drinking water pact appear to be stricken by buyer’s remorse. The U.S. Interior Department has unveiled a national strategy to combat a plague threatening cave bat populations across the United States, including in Arkansas. The plan’s release coincided with a major conference held in Little Rock, May 17th. Jacqueline Froelich reports.
