We talk with students, as well as state, and national advocates.The state's Department of Corrections has announced it will make changes to the state's parole system following calls by Governor Beebe and others to strengthen the supervision and control of parolees in the state. Eureka Springs Hospital is one of the tiniest and oldest in Arkansas, built in 1929. A for-profit medical facilities management firm, which leases the antiquated hospital wants to build a brand new facility on the outskirts of town. But to make it happen, the city of Eureka Springs will have to provide a major infusion of money.
