Joe Neal is coauthor of “Arkansas Birds,” published by the University of Arkansas Press. His latest book “In the Province of Birds, a Western Arkansas Memoir,” is published by Half-Acre Press. And estimated 150 Baha'is live in NW Arkansas. This past Sunday they held a special prayer vigil and singing at the Springdale Baha'i Center to raise awareness about the plight of their members being persecuted in Iran by the Islamic Republic government. Jacqueline Froelich attended.
