Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Marshallese migrants living in the United States are eligible to enroll in the Arkansas marketplace for private insurance. Jacqueline Froelich attended a health fair in Springdale designed to encourage islanders to sign up.At any given time, there are around 4000 children in foster care in Arkansas. Of those, 500 will never return home. Sebastian County has the second-largest number of foster kids and children available for adoption behind only Pulaski County though its population is much less. After Sunday's tornado devastated Vilonia, Mayflower and the surrounding areas, several businesses began offering a slew of options to provide additional support to relief efforts, some traditional and others more novel.

A half-mile wide tornado killed at least 16 last night when it rolled across the central part of the state, hitting the cities of Mayflower and Villonia especially hard. Meanwhile, the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the American Red Cross begins coordinating its response teams to help in the recovery efforts.
